CFL Announces New Patent Grant for Acoustic SPC Tech

Adairsville, GA, September 21, 2026—CFL Flooring (Creative Flooring Solutions) announces a new patent grant covering its advanced acoustic SPC technology, further strengthening the portfolio licensed globally through I4F. 

The newly granted rights enhance CFL’s ability to identify protected implementations in the market and enforce its intellectual property, providing greater certainty to licensed manufacturers and customers adopting the technology.

CFL’s patented multi-layer construction is designed to address one of the key challenges of hard-surface flooring: noise. By combining specifically engineered layers targeting different sound frequencies, the technology reduces reflected and transmitted footfall noise, room echo and floor squeaking, while also delivering a softer feel underfoot.
