Chattanooga, TN, April 26, 2012 — Ten tons of carpet from a $750,000 renovation of the historic Chattanooga Choo Choo was donated to Columbia Recycling in Dalton, Ga.
About a year ago, the Chattanooga Choo Choo launched a green initiative to allow for a more eco-friendly business, according to a story in the Chattanooga Times Free Press.
Columbia accepts millions of pounds of carpeting from across the country for precessing into pellets.
