Mattress Shipments Down 6.7% in 2025

Lexington, KY, September 14, 2026—Mattress unit shipments declined 6.7% in 2025, according to the International Sleep Products Association’s 2026 Mattress Industry Trends Report, while unit shipments fell 13.2%, underscoring continued softness in consumer demand.

Total market dollar value fell 4% to 6.5%.

The average unit price of U.S.-produced mattresses rose nearly 5%. Average selling prices increased despite lower unit shipments, reflecting continued pricing discipline and favorable product mix.
