Unlin, Faus Settle Disputes, Strike License Pact

Calhoun, GA, October 18, 2007–A new cross-licensing agreement has been struck between Faus Group and Unilin. The agreement will allow Faus to use Unilin glueless locking technology and will allow Unilin to use Faus’s surface technologies for laminate flooring. 

Faus said the agreement marks a mutually beneficial conclusion of Unilin’s and Faus’s pending legal disputes, which includes actions in both Europe and North America.

Both Unilin and Faus license their respective technologies to a number of major flooring manufacturers.
