Brussels, Belgium, December 21–The European Commission said it has cleared the proposed joint acquisition by Permira Europe, Private Equity Partners and Marazzi Group SpA of ceramic tile manufacturer Marazzi Gruppo Ceramiche SpA.
The acquisition was cleared under the EU’s simplified merger procedure.
