
Atlanta, GA, February 25, 2020–The Home Depot reported net sales for Q4 2019 decreased 2.7%, compared to Q4 2018; net earnings for Q4 2019 rose 5.8% YOY. Fiscal 2018 included an extra week of operations compared to fiscal 2019, which added approximately $1.7 billion of sales to Q4 2018.
Comparable sales for Q4 2019 increased 5.2 %, and comparable sales in the U.S. increased 5.3%.
For fiscal year 2019, net earnings for fiscal year 2019 rose 1.1% YOY, while sales grew 1.9%, compared to fiscal year 2018.
Comparable sales for fiscal year 2019 increased 3.5%, and comparable sales in the U.S. increased 3.8%.
The company added six new stores in fiscal year 2019.
