IVC Increases Distribution Coverage in U.S.

Dalton, Georgia – IVC U.S., Inc. adds J.H. Freed & Sons, Floor Supply Distributors and New England Floor Supply to their current list of active distributors thus increasing coverage of their vinyl-encapsulated fiberglass flooring across the U.S. Established in 2004, International Vinyl Company, US, Inc., the North American division of Belgian resilient flooring manufacturer IVC Group, is known as the fastest growing resilient sheet flooring company in North America.

 

J.H. Freed & Sons of San Diego, California is the newest addition to the IVC distributor list. They will launch the Flexitec line in September 2007 to their retail partners in Southern California, Southern Nevada and Arizona. Since 1979, J.H. Freed & Sons has built their business based upon offering quality products that include excellent appearance and functionality for which the IVC Flexitec line is known. “When evaluating the introduction of a new product line, I look for a differentiating story to tell and a value added proposition for our retail partners,” says Chris Freed, President of J.H. Freed & Sons.

 

Also serving as President of North American Association of Floor Covering Distributors (NAFCD), Chris Freed recognizes IVC as an industry leader in the resilient sheet vinyl category. Says Freed, “I have been following IVC’s growth and development in the U.S. market for the past several years and believe they have established themselves as the market leader for fiberglass sheet vinyl with aggressive marketing, a proven method of installation and their latest new pattern introductions for 2007.”

 

Floor Supply Distributors of Spokane, Washington teamed with IVC in early 2007. Their coverage includes Washington, Oregon, Montana, Northern Wyoming, Northern Idaho and Alaska. Floor Supply has over 30 years of experience in the flooring industry, including a strong background in vinyl flooring.

 

IVC completed their coverage of the Northeast by adding New England Floor Supply to cover Connecticut and the Albany, New York area at the beginning of 2007. Keith Hemstock is president of the family owned business that was started by his father in 1966. “We are big enough to service our dealers, yet small enough to accommodate special needs and requests,” says Hemstock. “And, by adding the IVC Flexitec line we are able to provide our dealers with quality product,” continued Hemstock.
