Rohnert Named EVP of Sales at FlorimUSA

Clarksville, TN, September 27--Florim USA appointed Michael Rohnert to the newly created position of executive vice president of sales. In this role, Rohnert will be responsible for all sales and related activities for Florim USA. He will focus his efforts on bolstering customer relationships and service. He reports directly to president and CEO Mirco Migliari. "We are a growing company… prioritizing our customers’ needs. We will strengthen our presence in the marketplace and our relationships with customers,” states Migliari. "Mike Rohnert is the right person to lead this new chapter." Rohnert comes to Florim USA with a broad background in national sales and sales management, including many years in the tile industry—in both distribution (Sunderland Bros., Arizona Tile) and manufacturing (The Tileworks, GTE Engineered Ceramics) sectors. Most recently, he served as director of OEM sales for the Automotive Lighting Division with Osram Sylvania, Inc. He had been with the company more than a decade. His varied tile industry sales expertise, blended with his tenure within a structured, large corporation, offers the right fit for Florim USA’s strategy for growing market relationships. As Florim USA’s parent company, The Florim Group recently invested in important new technologies in the plant—including new Rotocolor machines and line reconfigurations to allow for more new product testing without impeding production.
