NFA & IDG Hold Meetings Ahead of Surfaces

Las Vegas, NV, January 30, 2023-Prior to the opening of Surfaces tomorrow, the National Floorcovering Alliance (NFA) and International Design Guild (IDG) are both hosting meetings today.

This marks the first meeting of the year for the NFA and begins this morning with a business meeting, followed by a table-top expo this afternoon. Yesterday marked the group’s first board meeting under its new president, Ian Newton, general manager of Flooring 101.

The NFA is comprised of more than 40 member dealers, all of whom must have over $10 million in annual sales. The group must be in full agreement about adding a member and members cannot overlap in territory.

IDG, which is a boutique subset of CCA Global, will host about 50 members at its event. The keynote speaker for the meeting is Connor Lokar with ITR Economics, and that event takes place today. The group’s members focus primarily on upper-end finishes.

Both groups are holding their meetings at the Mandalay Bay convention center.
