Mannington Commercial Scores with Motorcycle Givea
Calhoun, GA, March 9--Mannington Commercial recently wrapped up its first promotion, "Get in the Groove", aimed at key contract flooring personnel, and called it a huge success. Mannington contractors earned points for every sold carton of Inspirations, Brushwork, SolidPoint and ColorPoint, all premium visual tile, as well as the popular vinyl composition tile, Essentials. While earning points for a wide array of awards, each sale was an entry into the "Groove Sweepstakes", a random drawing at the end of the promotion for a Harley Davidson XL 833 Sportster motorcycle. The winner, Charles Rucker with Rucker Floor Service, Swansea, SC, received his new blue Sportster in November, 2004. In addition, two random winners each month of the contest selected prizes that included Callaway Golf Clubs, Tag Heuer Watch Canon Camera Package, and other prizes. Winners included Frank Johnston of Wilson Floor (Milton, FL), Brooks Turner of Intertech Flooring (Austin, TX), Sue Kreakie Interiors (Orrville, OH), Greg Tittle of Carpet Systems (Huntsville, Floors Inc. (Lincoln, NE), Keith Krueger of Flooring Resources Corey Smith of DMA & Associates (Richmond, VA), Steve Conron of American Floors (Philadelphia, PA), Charles Kazienko of Premier Contract Carpet (Norcross, GA), and Hector Santana of Addy's Commercial Flooring (Hialeah, FL). Contract flooring personnel responded to the selected products for the "Get in the Groove" promotion because the four Mannington products feature through-pattern construction that extends the color and pattern throughout the thickness of the tile, thus prolonging the life of the tile. Essentials, rich with warm tones, hot hues and cool shades that define a space and add visual interest, provides excellent wear properties in areas subject to heavy traffic.
