EF & Mohawk Announce Price Increase on Residential Carpet

Dalton, GA and Calhoun, GA, June 29, 2018-Engineered Floors and Mohawk have announced price increases on residential carpet.

Engineered Floors is increasing pricing from 5% to 7% on its Dream Weaver, Dwellings, Engineered Floors, and Beaulieu carpet brands.

Mohawk is increasing prices on all residential carpet 6% to 7%.

For both companies, the increase will affect all new orders starting on August 6. Any orders placed prior to the increase date that have not shipped by August 18 will also incur the increase.

The customer letters from both companies point to increases in raw material prices as the driver for these price increases.
