Carpet One Intros Sales Professionals Website

Manchester, NH, August 23, 2006--Carpet One Floor & Home has introduced a new intranet site, designed specifically for sales professionals. The site will provide sales professionals with information and expertise to enhance their skills, product knowledge and understanding of Carpet One Floor & Home. The concept for the sales professional site was developed during Sales Professional Council meetings in 2005. Members of the council, who meet throughout the year to discuss common challenges, brainstorm new ideas and provide feedback on programs and products, recognized the need for an easily accessible communication tool and resource for Carpet One Floor & Home sales professionals. “One of our major Five-Year Plan initiatives is to get our sales professionals more involved with our programs and brand identity development,” explained Carpet One Floor & Home president Evan Hackel. “We’re excited to offer them a resource that will provide up-to-date information about our products and keep them ahead of the curve on industry trends. The new site will definitely make our sales professionals more knowledgeable and help them feel part of the greater Carpet One Floor & Home community.” Carpet One Floor & Home’s new sales professional intranet site will include a variety of features to provide information on training, products, best practices and more. Highlights of the site include: •My Store: a personalized section that allows each store to post announcements, upcoming events, sale information, etc. •Sales Sharpener: a place that sales professionals can find tips and tricks of the trade from some of our top trainers. •Best Practices: sales professionals can submit their best practices to be shared with others in this section. •Top Sellers: in this section, Carpet One Floor & Home’s top ten best-selling products are posted by region and updated regularly. •Recommended Reading: this section features books that may benefit a sales professional, recommended by trainers, Carpet One Floor & Home staff and sales professionals themselves. •Carpet One Floor & Home Advantage: this page demonstrates the benefits of being a member of Carpet One Floor & Home. •Product Corner: sales professionals can easily access information on Carpet One Floor & Home exclusive brands and products. •Carpet One Floor & Home Five-Year Plan: this section provides information on the Five-Year Plan and highlights any updates. •OnLine University: sales professionals can access the OLU directly from the site.
