Amtico Appoints North American Manager

Atlanta, GA, January 03, 2008 – Amtico International has appointed Tyrone Johnson general manager of its North American Business Unit.

Johnson was most recently with Armstrong World Industries as vice president/general manager of it Homerwood Hardwood Flooring business.

“Tyrone has built a career on a very strong sales and customer management background,” said Jonathan Duck, president and CEO, Amtico International.

Johnson formally began working with Amtico on Jan. 2, filling the vacant lead management position at Amtico North America. The role had been filled on an interim basis by senior vice president Hugh Pugsley.
