Open Letter to Retailers & Distributors from Witex
Kennesaw, GA, August 12--Roland Elbracht, president, Witex Flooring Inc. posted the following open letter to Witex and Laura Ashley distributors and Retailers on the Internet:
We are pleased to announce that Witex Flooring Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Witex AG, has been formed to service the laminate flooring business in the North American Market. Formation of the new company will result in several benefits to you and your customers:
The flow of inventory directly from the manufacturer means improved availability for all products. Inventory is currently available to ship from the new warehouse in Atlanta, GA, and additional product is shipping from the manufacturer.
Purchasing directly from the manufacturer assures competitive pricing to you and to your retailers, and will allow more aggressive pricing in the marketplace.
Current warranties will remain in force for all claims originating after July 1, 2005.
New displays are available to order, and Witex will continue to support current displays and sampling programs already in the field.
Witex Flooring Inc. will sell laminate flooring only at this time, and will not be supporting current hardwood or ceramic programs.
Witex is developing several innovative new product lines that will advance Witex as a leader in the laminate industry. These products will be featured at the Surfaces show in January.
